Russell Cowie has been playing percussion and drumkit for the last 15 years. Covering all styles from Orchestral to Funk and everything inbetween, his experience as a peformer in both the studio environment and on the stage is second to none. He has played to crowds as far afield as Singapore, Vietnam & the Middle East as well as having residencies at some of Durhams' biggest Club Nights, Digital Love and Planet of Sound.

In recent years, his freelance attentions have been focussed on Nightclub performances and being the principle percussionist with the fire artistry ensemble, 3rd Degree. Credentials to date include performances in Ibiza for Thompson Gold, the annual Toni & Guy Fashion Show, The Bombay Ball- Durham '07, York University Medic Graduate Ball '08, regular performances at Superstylin' @ Junk Club, Southampton and giving an array of junior workshop masterclasses in and around the Dorset and Devon areas outside of term time.
