The Glade

The newest concept night from Cowie Entertainment that offers an array of live music acts, carefully selected and brought to your very doorstep. From indie groups that have been snatching the headlines and touring the festival circuit this summer to a whole host of other artists performing live funk, reggae, drum 'n' bass and even folksong parody- all under one roof. So kick back, enjoy the music and come and escape the normality of Durham student life with us....only at The Glade.

The night lanches on Thursday 23rd October for an audience with The Coronas. This Irish originating band has had huge success with their debut albulm Heroes and Ghosts which has been descibed as "walking a soulful line between Jeff Buckley and the Libertines".

Having played at Oxegen this summer amongst other festivals, they've been tipped for big things to come and are consiquently the ideal choice to headline our launch night.
