Digital Love's First Birthday Party

Cowie Entertainment invites you to the biggest party of the academic term to come and celebrate the hugely successful first year of Digital Love at the Durham Student's Union on Thursday 20th November 2008. As ever, we promise to bring you the very best in Electro, House, Progressive, Trance and DnB, at this monster event we welcome three of the biggest names in dance to Durham's fair city for one truly memorable night of musical carnage.
The night kicks off at 10pm with Digital Love resident, James Ings warming up the ballroom with Sexy House & Tribal whilst our other resident, Andres Sanchez, plays out the Digital Love Classics for you in the Vane Tempest. Drop into Kingsgate Bar to watch our fantastic fire artists performing out on the balcony.
At 11pm, head down to the Ballroom to catch the start of our first headlining set for the evening, provided by one of this summers' biggest dance acts- THE HOXTON WHORES (Ministry of Sound). Following their huge success with one of Ibiza 08's hottest tracks, 'Friday Saturday Love', it's fair to say that their back catalogue reads like a dance music bible and their tour diary like an airline departure board!
Expect: Bouncy electro & filthy beats - Armageddon on the streets.
At 1.30am we begin to crank things up a notch in true Digital Love style with our second and third headline acts of the evening collaborating on stage together in what promises to be an unmissable acculmination of musical carnage- brought to you by one of the UNDISPUTABLE pioneers of Drum 'n' Bass, LONDON ELEKTRICITY alongside their no. 1 vocal weapon of choice, MC WREC. Having toured extensively throughout Europe, Australia and beyond, its fair to say that even after all this time, these guys still know exactly how to throw a party!
Expect: Sweat. Drum 'n' Bass and more sweat.
