Andrés started DJing in 2001 whilst at the University of Durham and quickly established himself as one of Durham's brightest young talents, performing under the moniker 'DJ Pedro'. Specializing in a variety of styles including funky house, electro, trance and hard house, Andrés was soon making guest appearances at numerous venues in & around Durham City (Studio, DH-1, Bar 19 & Walkabout) and his native London (the Blue Anchor Staines & The Toad @ Two Rivers Staines).

Widely recognized as Durham's most talented and popular DJ, Andrés soon turned to promoting, effectively targeting the student market at Durham for such events as the one-off Envy at CUBE nightclub in Spennymoor (in Autumn 2003) and several fundraisers at the Student Union on behalf of DUCK (Durham University Charities Kommittee). However his most successful enterprise was to organize and host the Annual Boat Club Barbecue on behalf of Collingwood College; a night that saw its numbers grow exponentially from a promising 250 guests in 2001 to a packed-out 600 in 2005, eclipsing all other post-examination summer events at that time. Today Andrés remains hugely in demand across the Northeast and continues to make successful inroads in London. With an uncanny ability to read a crowd and a genuine passion for the music he plays, Andrés is at home behind a pair of decks. He continues to travel extensively and maintains an eclectic taste in dance music. Look out for his own club night, One Night of CARNAGE (launched in June 2007) and his many appearances at Digital Love, the Northeast's hottest new club night, as resident DJ. Every event with Andrés behinds the decks remains a night of burlesque-themed hedonism.
